Ten new members (Parishioners) of Holy Cross Parish in Tamale on 22nd August, 2021 were initiated into the Catholic Organisation for Social and Religious Advancement (COSRA) of the Catholic Archdiocese of Tamale. The Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Joseph N.O Sackey, the Youth Chaplain of Holy Cross Parish and was concelebrated with Rev. Fr. Fidele Kabore from Ouagadougou.

The initiation was performed by Rev. Fr. Joseph N.O Sackey where the new initiates affirmed their commitment to the goals and ideals of COSRA and the Church.  He advised them to be discipline, humble, obedient and live upright lives.

The new initiates were presented for initiation by Sister Elizabeth S. Paaya, the Archdiocesan President of COSRA and was supported by Brother Matthew Pipio, the Archdiocesan Expansion Committee Chairman. Prior to the initiation, their Uniforms were blessed by               Rev. Fr. Sackey.

Rev. Fr. Sackey inducted the newly elected Five Executives of the Holy Cross Branch of COSRA into office with Brother Fredrick Nantogmah as the Parish President. The rest of Executives are; Brother Janarious Apiung, Vice President, Sister Conilia Donnir, Secretary, Sister Felicity Nyewieh, Financial Secretary and Brother Patrick Danban, Organizer.
