On 31st January, 2021, a new branch of the Catholic Organisation for Social and Religious Advancement (COSRA) was inaugurated at Wamfie in the Sunyani Diocese. The parish priest of the church, Rev. Fr. Matthew Yeboah presided over the Mass and inaugurated the branch. He admonished the members to involve themselves in the work of the church and bring the youth together.
Bro. Ernest Kudzo, National Expansion Committee chairman of COSRA introduced twenty-eight (28) new members for initiation with the help of the Sunyani diocesan president- Bro. Vincent Akwei. They were initiated into the society by the Priest.
New officers were also inducted to take charge of the society for the next two years. Bro. Matthew Kusi, Bro. Philip Amoako, Sis. Gloria Yeboaa, Sis. Felicity Anima and Bro. Philemon Kusi Yeboah as president, vice president, secretary, financial and organiser respectively.
National Vice president, Bro. Stephen Nabareseh presented the mandate to the branch president. He encouraged them to increase their membership both in the church and other parishes around them.
