On the 29th day of November, 2020, the joy of members of COSRA at the St. Francis Xavier parish, Awaso was at its peak as a new parish got inaugurated. In all 22 members were initiated. This was after months of preparations in the hands of the diocesan executives, imbuing the spirit of ‘service to God and mankind’ in their daily lives.
The main celebrant, in the person of Rev. Fr. Joseph Kwabena Otoo (the Parish Priest) in his sermon, stated that when things aren’t going the way we expect , there is the need to call on God to intervene and the period is in this; advent. He asked that members must be watchful and alert by performing their duties to protect the property of the master (Jesus Christ) through love and peace.
The Diocesan president on behalf of the newly inaugurated members expressed their gratitude to the national president for her support towards the successful inauguration.
