SUNYANI DIOCESAN COSRA ended their 8th annual congress at Wenchi with a thanks giving Mass.
This year’s diocesan congress was held at Our Lady of Fatima (OLF) parish, Wenchi in the Bono region from Friday 31st May to Sunday 2nd June, 2019. The annual congress which is organized prior national programmes was attended by the twenty (20) branch parishes in the Sunyani diocese. This year’s was a spiritual congress with the theme “Young people, the faith and vocation discernment”. A Mass was celebrated on the Friday evening after registration and welcome address was given by the local organising committee and the parish priest Rev. Monsignor Boakye Gyan.
Among the activities on Saturday included; jogging through the principal streets of Wenchi township, ending it with aerobics. Groups of ten were formed to discussed some YOUCAT questions assigned. Each group presented their report and discussions were made.

A Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr Appiah after the YOUCAT discussion.
Talk by Fr. Charles Amoah on the theme ‘ Young people, the faith and vocation discernment. He admonished members to love each other for ‘love is not selfish, and being important to others is key. After this, Rev. Fr. Dominic Sabi, the diocesan youth chaplain concluded the YOUCAT seminar by clarifying some issues on the catechism.

A prayer rally was preceded A penitential service after break our Fast, lead by Rev. Fr. Foster.

A dinner was organized to cheer the participants in the evening amidst drinking, eating and dancing.

Thanksgiving mass by Monsignor Boakye Gyan was held to end the two day programme.
