As part of the program of activities of the group, the national council me at the St. Charles Rwanga parish in Accra to hand over power to the 2021 newly elected executives. It was a gathering of old and new diocesan presidents, national executives and committee chairmen. The outgoing president Ms. Mavis A. A. Ekpe in her speech repeatedly echoed that, the numerous calls, especially at odd times was what made the group chopped the success it has today. She also reminded, especially those in the council for the first time of key achievements made by the group during her tenure of office. The council was reminded that their relevance in the church will be more felt if we increase our commitment to supporting the youth. According to her the transition to laity should not relegate this responsibility into despair. Without your guide, there may be no youth to initiate into COSRA.
On behalf of the council the president, Dr. Stephen Nabarese expressed his profound gratitude to Mad. Mavis AA Ekpe for the commitment she showed towards her work which has really catapulted the group to especially this transition state. The president also promised to do all he can to build COSRA to the expected level. He requested for support of everyone, especially council members never to hold back what they can for the group. This was after COSRA documents were handed over to him.
