The National Secretariat paid a visit to our founder Msgr Jonathan A. Ankrah on Thursday August 4, 2022. This was the day the nation was celebrating our founders.
The National leadership first met our Spiritual Director, Very Rev. Fr. Richard Ayivi Aziati who is in the Country. The National President, Dr. Stephen Nabareseh, welcomed him home and updated him on the happenings in the group in his absence. Fr. Aziati was grateful to the leadership and appreciated the work members of COSRA keep doing in the Church. He prayed for all leaders and members of the group.
The National leaders with the spiritual director proceeded to pay a visit to our founder at his residence.
Our founder welcomed all after brief introductions were made. The National President specially introduced our spiritual director to our Founder since it was the first time of meeting since his appointed, although our founder was very instrumental in his appointment.
The National President then updated our founder on happenings in the group. This included expansion, transition, national sports and cultural festival, leadership challenges, diocesan growth, among others.
On his part, our founder was happy to know we were doing well, grateful for our visit and inquired happenings in certain Dioceses. He was most grateful to some past leaders and current leaders for holding the Fort and sacrificing for the group. He prayed for all members.
The team interacted with him and prayed with him. Our spiritual director said a special prayer for him. The National Secretariat presented a token to him on behalf of the group. Our National Spiritual Director received the “Elishal” blessings from our Founder. He wished us well and called for more visits.
The executives present were the National President; Dr. Stephen Nabareseh, the National Vice President; Tamara Amina Sulemana, the National Secretary; Vincent Musah, Past Presidents; Samuel Nkrumah Duah & Joseph Skuggen, the Spiritual Committee Chairman; Benjamin Egyir, National Expansion Committee chairman; Ernest Kuzor, the Accra Archdiocesan President; Theophilus Evans Asare and our Spiritual Director; Very Rev. Fr. Richard Ayivi Aziati.
