The financial secretary of COSRA, Mr Stephen Gyau Baffour reminded members of this when he visited the Christ the King Cathedral branch of COSRA in the Sunyani diocese on the 11th of November, 2020. Though it was a friendly visit, members took the opportunity to get clarifications on some national issues. In his answer to the main question on finances, Mr Gyau expressed his appreciation to members for the support they continue to give to the society. He emphasized that Christ the King Cathedral COSRA in 2019 was the highest retention contributor to the national. He concluded by emphasizing that the society has the best structure and expertise in financial management hence the reason for progress made over the years.
He also reminded members to remain calm with the trust that the Catholic Bishops Conference knows best for the Youth with regards to the age policy. “It’s not a chance to sit on the fence” , our name and what we stand for is what will earn us our expected exit.
In appreciation for the warm welcome and high numbers at the meeting, he promised to be present at meetings whenever he visits Sunyani. The president of the branch Mr Francis Kuma took the chance to express his appreciation on behalf of his members.
