This was the message for members of COSRA during their National Games and Cultural Festival (CNGCF) at the Catholic University College of Ghana, Fiapre. The Municipal Chief Executive who was a guest speaker extolled the executive committee for such an innovative purpose of gathering. To him, the business exhibition is in line with the government’s dream of promoting small-scale businesses. He said the Youth and Graduate unemployment is admittedly high. But it is said; that he who does not work, does not eat, hence the need for members to be creative business men and women. He continued that there are no readymade solutions to questions on unemployment in Ghana. But he believes it is highly possible that each one of us has answers in our hands. Being a little more proactive in how we see life may help, he added. He continued that the jobs are not available as it used to be, but the Government believes in creating educational opportunities for our academic development. Also is the Youthstart, to support young people like us, to start our enterprises and small businesses. He added that Youthstart assists young people with financial and technical support for their businesses. He encouraged members to take advantage of the intervention to get the needed financial and technical support for their businesses to be self reliant.
