Very typical with the group; the Catholic Organisation for Social and Religious Advancement donated 37 bales of clothing for men, women and children to the St. Rudolph Outstation, a community near Navrongo.
This was as part of its National Spiritual Congress which was held from the 1st to the 4th of August, 2019 at the University for Development Studies, Navrongo. The group, which has affected many homes and individuals across Ghana through various forms of donations, thought it wise to extend another gesture to the community.
The items were born from members when the National Executive Committee called out for it as the most appropriate for the occasion. This is meant to comfort those who need it most and for benefiters to experience love from COSRA.
To also emphasize our evangelization intention, the following religious items were included: That they read the Bibles and use the other materials in prayers and worship.
St. Rudolph Outstation:
90 Bibles
200 Rosaries
180 scapula
Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Basilica Children’s Service
10 Bibles
20 Rosaries
20 scapula
The smiles on the faces of members in the community were enough to depict their appreciation for the kind gesture. However, on behalf of the Diocese, the Church leadership, lead by the Host Bishop; Most Rev. Alfred Agyenta, expressed their profound gratitude for the items.
